Over two evenings, on the roof of the The Ormond Hotel, people gathered for a series of solo performances. The artist spent prior time, privately, in one of the hotel guest rooms to develop the ideas and form of the public work. Lighting, a video projector and screen were temporarily installed on the roof. Two monitors in the hotel lobby played short looped videos. This photograph shows the artist making her first site visit to the roof with the art centre's technical director. The art centre's front of house staff and technical crew worked closely with the artist. At the time, the hotel was seeking planning permission to raise the roof line. The proposed height can be seen in the photograph, indicated by the timber structures.
